Independent, and that matters
Harben Motors has been fixing cars in Stockport since 1988. We are independent, so we work for you, not for a manufacturer.
Dave Harben still runs the counter. His daughter Kate runs the workshop. Between them and the team, we have four time served techs across six ramps on Hempshaw Lane.
We explain what actually needs doing and what can wait, with photos, before we touch anything. That is the whole idea.

Dave Harben
Dave started Harben Motors in 1988 and still greets most customers at the desk. If you want a straight answer about your car, he is the one to ask.
Kate Harben
Dave's daughter Kate runs the workshop and the four techs. She makes sure every job is done right and photographed before and after.
